From any image, our algorithm can automatically detect and segment fingerprints. You can also apply an optional overlay to show the location of the segments.

Images can be verified for the presence of a fingerprint, as well as fingerprint classification using the NFIQ Fingerprint Image Quality standard. A typical fingerprint card results in approximately 10 megabytes of digitized bitmap data; thanks to our WSQ implementation, this can be greatly reduced to less than 1 megabyte in size.
