4. Optionally, delete the attachments. Save the paper clip.

Optionally, remove attachments from messages. Link messages to deleted attachments without losing the paperclip indicator. Attachments are often the biggest source of mailbox growth. Keep your mailbox small and Outlook fast and stable.
