• Other necessary components

Domain: the server on which the platform is implemented must be associated with an Active Directory domain

Internet Information Services (IIS): required to access the GFI OneGuard Web interface. If not found, it is automatically installed by GFI OneGuard during installation

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1: If not found, it is automatically installed by GFI OneGuard during installation.

ASP.NET 4.5.1: If not found, it is automatically installed by GFI OneGuard during installation.

Windows Firewall: Make sure that the Windows firewall with advanced security > entry rules for recording and sharing file printer (Eco-ICMPv4-in request) is allowed.

Third-party firewalls: These configurations may vary depending on the firewall model. Some firewalls have certain protocols or services. In these cases, you must enable the ping. Some firewalls require Ping or Incoming Ping configuration. Others refer to its technical name, ICMP Echo Reply. Either way, allow this protocol.
